Retrospective of Shows at the Lido Theatre 2

To end its 2023-2024 season in style, the Lido was delighted to host Christopher Luscombe’s production of the Rocky Horror Show. This special tour celebrated the 50th anniversary of this cult musical. For two months, audiences enjoyed festive and unforgettable evenings with this iconic show at Lido 2.

For its grand reopening after 10 months of renovation, Jean-Luc Choplin, artistic director and president, stages the biggest success of Stephen Sondheim: “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum”A Funny Thing happened On The Way To The Forum. With rave reviews, the show  remain on stage for 2 months.

For the launch of the new LIDO 2 Paris, the famous venue on the Champs-Elysées presented, under the artistic direction of Jean-Luc Choplin, a new production of Cabaret, directed and staged by Robert Carsen (known for Singin’ in the Rain, My Fair Lady at the Théâtre du Châtelet, as well as countless opera and theater productions at the Opéra Bastille, Palais Garnier, Comédie-Française, and major venues worldwide).

It was the first time that this cult musical was performed in Paris in its original English version with subtitles.
